How to look up one’s district and related voting info…

Get your “zip+4” code.
USPS

Plug it into the “Find your representative” search in the upper left of the House of Representative homepage. This will give you your district.
House.gov

You can look up your district at the greenpapers.com to see who’s running and get links to their websites. Here’s PA:

They even have maps, so you can check out some totally sweet gerrymanders, like PA 6th (my district):

On a whim, I presented to the Dexcon indie rpg roundtable a game idea that has been bouncing around in my head for a little while now. I was a bit nervous, but it got a positive reaction. Someone literally jumped up out of his seat and ran across the room to throw a high five to his friend.

Anyways, I'm seriously working on developing this game. I've already got an artist chosen and I believe I've got an editor as well (Rob, I couldn't tell whether or not you were joking about that). That's all long term stuff though. Right now I'm working on fleshing out the game. You can track my progress at http://a-w-f-gamedev.livejournal.com/.

Lonely robot rescues fat humans.

I got the stitches out Friday, and things are healing up nicely. I was surprised at how much I limbered up within 24 hours of their removal. Nonetheless, the doctor advised that I wait another 5 weeks before resuming squat thrusts, quad-blasting, or other bizarrely named leg exercises.

It is, as the kids say, "The Jam."

Rachel will be in Western Massachusetts with story gamers this weekend. From there she'll take the scenic route to the campgrounds, probably visiting friends and being happy. I will be engaging in my normal activity of going to work, being tired, and wanting to be somewhere else.
